Office Administrator (temporary, part-time post to cover maternity leave)

Allathan Associates is a firm of agricultural consultants and land managers, providing professional services to farms and estates throughout North East Scotland.  We are seeking an administrator to support our small, but busy team based at our offices in Turriff and Maud. This will be a temporary, part-time post to cover maternity leave.

Responsible to our office manager, the successful candidate’s duties will involve filing, answering the telephone, dealing with mail, banking, photocopying and binding, and various other tasks to support the staff and partners of the business. A basic knowledge of book-keeping, MS Word and Excel software and some knowledge of agriculture and rural industries would be desirable.


The position is temporary (for up to 12 months), 3½ hours a day, 3 days per week, though additional hours may be required from time to time, particularly in April and May. The post will be based at our Turriff office, but occasionally at the Maud office, so access to a car will be essential.
